4. Registration and payment
- Registration for a course or consulting is confirmed once full payment is received in advance.
- Payment is processed through the [name] gateway. We issue electronic invoices according to Colombian regulations.
- Spaces are limited and are assigned in the order of confirmed payment.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Right of withdrawal: according to the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011), in distance purchases you can exercise the right of withdrawal within five (5) business days following the purchase, provided that the course has not started. In that case, we will refund the amount paid.
Once the course has started, there is no refund, unless Loopita cancels the program.
If Loopita cancels a course, you can choose between a full refund of the amount paid or transferring to a later cohort.
If you cannot attend a session, there is no replacement, recording, substitute session, or discount. We will send you the supporting material corresponding to that session.
Individual consulting: you can reschedule at no cost by notifying at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours or no-shows do not entitle you to a refund or rescheduling.
6. Recordings
Classes are not recorded. The value of the program lies in the live session and in the interaction of the group.
During the sessions, there may be participation via audio and video from the enrolled individuals. We do not share that content outside of the session.
7. Certificates
At the end of a course, we issue up to two certificates. The free workshop does not grant a certificate.
Attendance certificate. It is granted to those who attend at least 70% of the sessions.
Project certificate. It is granted to those who submit the final project of the course and Loopita approves it: the project must work and meet the objective that the person set. Evaluations from other participants are a resource; the decision is up to Loopita. Requires having previously obtained the attendance certificate: without 70% attendance, it is not issued, even if the project is finished.
These certificates do not constitute formal education degrees nor do they have academic validity before the Ministry of National Education or any educational authority. They are certificates of participation issued by Loopita S.A.S.
Issuance and verification. Certificates are issued and verified on a specialized external platform (POK), to which we send your name, your email, and the course details. You will receive the certificate by email, with a link and a QR code that anyone can use to verify its authenticity. By default, the certificate page is public; you can make it private from the platform.
Validity. Each certificate has a validity of two (2) years from its issuance, indicated on the certificate itself. Upon expiration, we remove it from the platform and it stops being verified online. You keep your file (PDF or image) as proof that you obtained it. We will try to notify you before the expiration.
Correction. If your certificate has an error in your data, write to us and we will replace it with a corrected one. The previous one is removed from the platform.
Revocation. Loopita can revoke a certificate before its expiration when it verifies that it was obtained irregularly, particularly due to:
a) identity theft: another person attended or submitted the project on your behalf;
b) fraud in attendance or in the project, including presenting someone else's work as your own;
c) false information in the registration that was decisive for obtaining it;
d) issuance error by Loopita, for example, a certificate issued to someone who did not meet the requirements.
Before revoking for the reasons a), b) or c), we will write to the registered email explaining the reason and the evidence, and you will have five (5) business days to respond. Loopita will decide based on the evidence and your response, and will communicate the decision to you. In case d), we will inform you and, if applicable, we will issue the correct certificate.
A revoked certificate ceases to be verified as valid on the platform. Revocation for reasons a), b) or c) does not entitle a refund of the amount paid.
8. Consulting included in Intermediate and Advanced
Those taking the Intermediate or Advanced courses are entitled to a 45-minute individual consulting session at no cost, to work on their class project or another personal project.
Conditions:
- Having obtained the attendance certificate (70% or more), and also meeting at least one of these two conditions: having submitted the final project, or having attended 90% or more of the sessions.
- Schedule it within 30 calendar days following the last session of the course.
- It is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for money or other services.
